|| First day of class today! It was interesting....consisted mostly of me trying to find things to do on campus to take up time because a lot of my classes ended early and I had to wait for the bus, for my next class...blah.
- HIS 9A: Eh...seems like it is going to be boring, although there were a few cute guys in the class, which makes it a
little better...who knows, maybe it will actually be really interesting. Although most likely, I will be falling asleep quite often. Because my teacher doesn't seem to like using the microphone. And he talks really quitely.
- HNR HIS 9A: Blarg, I have to read like 30 pages of handouts a week. This is an HONORS COURSE, for Pete's sake! We're not supposed to
learn anything! We're supposed to do fun projects....sheesh. I also have to write a five page paper that's due the last day of class. I don't understand! ONE UNIT class peoples! ONE UNIT!
- TXC 07: Seems like it's going to be really interesting, although some of the girls in the class (for example, the ones sitting next to me) seem really dumb. But what can I expect? It's a textiles and clothing class. sigh. I thought college was supposed to weed out the stupid people? (dude, the girls next to me were soooooo dumb). Cute hipster (possibly gay, so pefect for Al) TA and 3 extremely fashionable girl TA's. My teacher seems really nice.
- Saw lots of people I know on campus today - talked to Jenna Martin for awhile before my HNRs class and Jerry from my seminar too. It made me feel like I know a decent amount of people here and that we [being Aimee, Al & I] are not really the recluses we think we are. haha. Just kidding, we're not that reclusive. We're just the FEMCOS. ;)
|| I've realized I've had quite a few strange run-ins with guys in our building in the past few weeks. Like that one day when I was eating dinner with my parents in Fremont and met that guy who is my next door neighbor. Had no clue he was my next-door neighbor! And then Tuesday night, that drunk guy who came over to talk for fifteen minutes. Poor guy. He's probably really embarassed.
It's so windy outside. WHY?......why??? Tomorrow I have to wear something that represents who I am, or who I am not, or something in between, for my textiles discussion. heh, I don't really know what to say. I wonder if the textiles department has like a shopaholics anonymous class...now that would be
extremely useful. hehe.
